Brian comes from an engineering background in the water industry with over 25 years construction experience designing and supervising the building of treatment plants and pumping stations. In his spare time, Brian is a dedicated volunteer and active member of the East Cornwall Search & Rescue Team.
Sharon started her career as a Medical Secretary and understands the benefits of hydrotherapy massage as well the importance of long-term customer care. Sharon is a keen cyclist and gardener and enjoys a good soak in the hot tub to unwind at the end of the day!
We set up Spyrys Spas & Hot Tubs when looking to purchase a hot tub for ourselves in 2012 specifically for hydrotherapy and relaxation. We looked at many brands and chose Arctic Spas built in Canada which offered everything we were looking for in a hot tub; build quality, economic running costs, sustainability, and upgradability but most importantly, a comfortable place to relax and spend time together with our family when we are not out walking with our dogs.
In 2018 our son Matt joined the business full-time and has helped to grow our business year on year. Our large, indoor showroom in Wadebridge, North Cornwall, displays a range of excellent quality Hot Tubs and Swim Spas to suit all lifestyles and budgets. We have expanded our range and offer Vita Spas manufactured in Arizona, Reef Spas & Earth Spas which are specifically designed “heat pump ready” to enable more efficient Air Source Heating and a specific HSG282 compliant range of Holiday Let hot tubs. There are always a couple of hot tubs working on display and we also offer evening appointments for wet testing to try before you buy – just bring your cossies!
With our experience, knowledge of products and non-pressured sales advice we will help you find your perfect hot tub and help you to look after it. We also stock a range of hot tub accessories, including chemicals, filters, fragrances, and maintenance equipment. We are always happy to help if you are looking for something which is not on display.
A large part of our business is providing a Water Valet Maintenance Service for letting properties and second homes in the North Cornwall area. Our team of valet technicians and breakdown engineers offer the full service of preparing hot tubs for guest and owner stays and liaise closely with local letting service providers and agencies.
Spyrys is proud to be a member of BISHTA, the trade association that represents the British and Irish Hot Tub and Swim Spa Industry which exists to promote high standards of safety, enjoyment, and value, by registering suppliers of spas, hot tubs, accessories and water purification products. All are staff are trained to this standard and follow the BISHTA code of Practice.
